Chicken Potato Bake with Cabbage


  • 5 Potatoes
  • 4 Chicken thighs
  • Mushrooms
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/2 of a Cabbage
  • Garlic
  • 4 tea spoons Dill
  • 2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Tomato Ragu
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 chicken bullion cube


Pre heat oven to 350

  1. Sauté chicken thighs, season with salt and pepper
  2. Add Fine chopped onions , pressed garlic, sliced mushrooms, and shredded cabbage. Sauté until veggies are tender.
  3. Add Ragu , heavy cream, chicken bullion cube and dill.
  4. Cut each potato in 4 pieces with skin off and spread on a deep baking dish
  5. Pour the the chicken Ragu mix over the potatoes, season well again with salt and pepper
  6. Make sure the liquid is covering all the potatoes if needed add water
  7. Bake for 30 min with foil on , remove the foil mix all the potatoes and bake for additional 20 min
  8. Once cooked serve with a touch of sour cream and fresh dill
