Cheesecake Truffles

This is a simple dessert that you can wow your guests or bring to a Christmas party. You can even use a store bought cheesecake and make fancy truffles.

Ingredients :


Dark chocolate

Sprinkles or chopped nuts

Use a small ice cream scooper.


Cream cheese is very soft so can’t be rolled into balls by hand. Use a scooped to scoop small balls on a platter. It is fine if they are not perfectly round . Freeze for 30 min – 1 hour.

Melt dark chocolate. Set a small pot of water to boils and but a larger bowl on the pot. Add chocolate in the bowl and constantly mix for it to melt.

Take cheesecake from the freezer, roll each ball lightly with your hand before dipping into the chocolate. I usually use two forks to dip the truffles. Set the dipped truffle onto parchment paper and sprinkle with nuts or chocolate sprinkles. Let the chocolate harden than remove and put in mini cupcakes cups to make it look pretty to serve
