Steak Stir Fry


1 ribeye steak

1 package of chow Maine noodles

1/2 cup shredded cabbage

1/2 cup shredded carrots

1 cup mushrooms

1/2 Onion sliced

Green onions for garnish

Roasted peanuts

1 tea spoon Chinese five-spice

1 tea spoon Ginger

1 tea spoon Coriander

3 spoons Cilantro

3 garlic cloves

1 tea spoon hot sauce

1/3 cup Mr. Yoshida sauce ( can substitute with soy sauce ) you can buy this at Costco


Cook noodles according to the package.

In a deep skillet sauté thinly sliced steak. Season meat with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms and onions. After meat and mushrooms start turning color add carrots, cabbage and pressed garlic. Add all the seasoning, Yoshida sauce and hot sauce. Once vegetables are tender add noodles to your skillet and mix till well combined. If it looks like it needs more sauce you can add more of Yoshida sauce. Top with Cilantro, toasted peanuts and green onions.

* if you are using soy sauce don’t add salt till the end after you have tasted it. Soy sauce has lots of salt in it so can be easily over salted.
