Potato Pancake
- 1 medium size potato. ( shredded)
- 2 tea spoons shredded onions
- 1 egg
- 3 table spoons of flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 table spoons of butter for frying
Instructions:
Using a grater. Grate your potatoes, drain off any potato liquid. Grate about two spoons of onions. Add egg , salt and pepper. Mix till everything well combined. Melt your butter in a pan and fry your pancake shaped potatoes
Poached egg :
- 4 eggs
- 1 table spoon vinegar
- Salt
- Water
Instructions:
Bring your water to a boil add vinegar and salt. Make a swirl in your water with a spatula. Crack an egg in a small ramekins and add to the water one by one. Don’t mix let the water do it’s thing . Let it boil for two min. Lightly remove your egg from the water and drain any access water with a paper towel.
Hollandaise Sauce
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)
- Pinch cayenne
- Pinch salt
Instructions: In a blender or food processor beat your egg yolks with lemon juice. Add salt and pepper. When a blender is on at medium speed add melted butter slowly. Keep blending it for the sauce to get thicker. Assemble your plate as on the picture.
