Cream Puffs

This is a basic and easy cream puff recipe that I have been using for a while now. Hope you will enjoy!


  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tea spoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tea spoon salt
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 4 eggs.
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 package of cool whip
  • 1 cup of powder sugar

Instructions: pre heat oven to 425

  1. In a sauce pan melt your butter.
  2. Add 1 cup of water.
  3. Add salt and sugar.
  4. Add flour, mix and cook your flour till it forms into a ball.
  5. Take your flour mixture off the heat and let it cool a little.
  6. Beat in your eggs one by one.
  7. Align parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  8. Use a table spoon or a small ice cream scoop to scoop up dough on to the baking sheet. Keeping them 1 1/2 in apart
  9. Bake at 420 degrees for 10 min,
  10. Lower your heat to 350 and bake for 20 more min. The last 10 min open oven poke holes with tooth pick in each one to let steam out
  11. When done, let the cream puffs cool.
  12. Beat in together your soft cream cheese , cool whip and powder sugar.
  13. Slice each cream puff in half or poke a hole with piping bag on top and fill each one with cream.

If you want to top it with chocolate  ganache heat 1 cup of heavy cream and add 2 4 oz semi sweet chocolate bars or 1 cup of chocolate chips. Mix till chocolate is dissolved and pour on top of each cream puff
