Farmers Cheese Puff Pastry Pillows

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup of farmers cheese
  • 1/2 package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Raspberry jam ( or any jam of your choice )
  • Powder sugar for topping
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Instructions:
    1. Cut 1 puff pastry sheet in 3X3 ( you should have 9 squares per sheet of puff pastry )
Heat cream cheese for 15 seconds.
Mix cream cheese and farmers cheese with sugar.
Using a tea spoon make little drops on each square of cheese mixture.
Also make little drops of jam on to each square.
Pinch together two sides and than pinch together two other sides to form a little pillow. Push in the center down to create a little indent. When they bake they will and this will help from opening up completely.
Repeat for other sheet of puff pastry
Beat one egg with a little bit of water and brush each pastry.
Bake at 375 for 25-30 min until the tops began to form golden color.
Once cooled a little, dust it with powder sugar.

    AboutLily’s Cooking & Home

My story, I met the love of my life when I was 16 and two years later we were married. When we first got married I was not much of a cook, I would buy so many cook books and try recipes over and over again until it would turn out. I love to cook and create my own recipe also became a baker, I have also taken interest in doing home design and decor. In my blog I would love to share with you the recipes I create, recipes I find and love to share also tips for home decor and ideas.
